Villa del Gattopardo Suites & Spa, (hereinafter Villa del Gattopardo) jointly with its group companies, direct and indirect, and all separate legal entities which manage suites, on its behalf (collectively “Villa del Gattopardo”, “we”, “us”, “our”), takes seriously the protection of the privacy of its users. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes what information we collect about our guests, visitors, website and mobile application users, gift voucher purchasers, subscribers, individuals who contact us with inquiries, business contacts and all other persons from time to time (each referred to as “guest”, “user”, “she” and related pronouns).

Villa del Gattopardo offers a variety of luxury products and services for leisure and related activities, such as stays in suites, an area for events and congresses.
If the user agrees to receive commercial announcements, we will send him communications from the group to which Villa del Gattopardo belongs, relating to news, offers, products and services provided by us and our partners that may be of interest to the user, as described later, sent by email and other commercial channels. The user can change the preferred commercial channels by following the link in the registration confirmation email sent following the registration request or by following the procedure indicated in paragraph 4.
We will be happy to welcome you to our suites and facilities. However, our services are not intended directly for minors, and should only be used by them with the supervision of an adult.

What data can we collect about you?
We may process the following data about you:
• Data provided by the user.
The user can provide us with information about himself, even partial, by filling in the forms, registering for newsletters and other services, making or canceling a reservation, sending a request for information on one of our hospitality solutions, using our contact form or by contacting us in a personal or business capacity by email, telephone or otherwise. Such data may include: name, e-mail address, billing address, room preferences or special requests, telephone number, information on deposits and deposits to guarantee a reservation, content of e-mails sent to us and any other similar data. You are under no obligation to provide us with such data but, without it, we may not be able to respond to you and provide you with the services, content or information you request.
• Data collected during the guest’s stay.
Villa del Gattopardo records the justified expenses of the guest and the other expenses charged to his room. The specific data on the guest’s stay is stored in our IT systems. It is possible that images of the user are captured if they are present in controlled areas with a closed circuit TV protection system.

(i) perform data and trend analysis of user activity, user comments or other contributions to develop and improve our website, products and services and to ensure the effectiveness of our business efforts;
(j) comply with legal requests. Villa del Gattopardo is required to record data to comply with financial obligations and information on guests’ identity as prescribed by local laws (for example, passport number or other identification document, name of all occupants of a room, including children and partners) and promptly communicate them to the competent Authorities.
The legal basis for the processing of your personal data by Villa del Gattopardo for the purposes described above usually includes:
• the processing necessary to fulfill a contract, for example, the conditions governing the website or the reservation, between Villa del Gattopardo and the guest, including the processing for the purposes indicated in paragraphs (a), (b ), (c) and (d);
• processing necessary for our legitimate interests or for those of a third party, such as the processing specified in paragraphs (e), (f), (h), (i), (j), which is carried out on the basis of our legitimate interests in order to ensure the security of our company and the data of our users, and to ensure the correct and efficient administration of our company, except where consent is required for the above treatments according to the applicable law.

Villa del Gattopardo receives requests for information during observed office hours in Italy and responds as soon as reasonably practicable.

• our external suppliers and service providers, consultants, our customer relationship management and communication and advertising partners;
• online travel agencies used by the user to make a reservation or request information;
• legal persons, temporarily or permanently, in relation to collaborations,
• public authorities, where required by law;
• and any other third party, subject to your consent.
Transfer of user data abroad
Villa del Gattopardo may transfer user data outside the country in which it was collected (including countries where it owns hotels under construction or already operational) for the purposes and to the parties specified above. Villa del Gattopardo’s core business systems, including property management systems, are located in data processing centers located throughout the European Economic Area. The user who is in the European Economic Area can contact Villa del Gattopardo to receive a copy of the safeguards adopted to protect personal data, or download it directly from the website of the European Data Protection Board (EDPB).
User data security
Villa del Gattopardo works to protect user data. Unfortunately the security of your data may be compromised by unauthorized use, hardware or software failure, events beyond our control or other factors, but we will do our best to meet our obligation to implement technical measures and appropriate organizational structures to ensure a level of security of personal data adequate to protect against the risk of violation of the same. We keep guest data in a secure place and take measures to ensure that only designated persons have access to this data. When the user logs in to complete or modify a reservation, his online interaction with Villa del Gattopardo is protected from interceptions thanks to encryption technology based on the browser used by the user. Credit card data, if sent through booking portals provided by third parties, are transmitted and stored in encrypted format and it will be the portal’s task to carry out what is necessary for debiting the payment or guaranteeing future stays. As regards the data relating to the credit card for the reservation of rooms sent via our website, they will be transmitted following the partial transmission with a double transmission channel (a part of the credit card numbers will be sent via email or fax and a part via WhatsApp, Telegram or SMS) and stored in encrypted format in the billing and accounting program and the paper part that is no longer needed will be immediately destroyed
It is important to note that communications via e-mail are not secure: this is an inherent risk of using e-mail and it is recommended that you do not enter confidential information when using it. To protect the user, Villa del Gattopardo never includes confidential information when replying to e-mails.
As much as you is user data retained?
Personal data will be kept for the time necessary to pursue the aforementioned purposes or as required by applicable law. If you are a resident of the European Economic Area, you can contact us for more details on our retention periods in relation to your personal data. By virtue of a legitimate and lawful interest, Villa del Gattopardo may keep the user’s personal data in an anonymous form and no longer referable to the user, for statistical purposes and without time limits.
Data relating to minors
We will ask parents and guardians for information about their minors, such as name, age, so that we can recognize all of our customers. When minors use our services, such as WiFi, we will receive information about them. Minors may also be filmed by our security cameras. We have a legitimate interest in processing this data, as explained in paragraph 3.
User rights
Where the user is interested in knowing how his personal data is processed, he can exercise his rights by sending us a request by e-mail to info@villalampedusa.it.
• Right of the interested party to request access (subject access request, SAR) Data subjects can request a copy of their personal data in writing. Where possible, we will allow our users to access their data.
• Compliance with SARs is subject to certain limitations and exemptions and respect for the rights of others. In each request, you must clearly specify that you are submitting a SAR. Where applicable, the data subject may be asked to present proof of identity and to make a payment. Villa del Gattopardo will make every effort to respond to the SAR within one month or as required by law.
• Right to rectification. Data subjects may request rectification of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
• Right to withdraw consent. Data subjects may at any time withdraw their consent to the processing of personal data by us based on their previous consent. This revocation does not affect the legitimacy of the treatment based on the consent previously given. The user who revokes her consent may not be able to use certain services for which the processing of personal data is essential.
• Right to object to processing including profiling. We will comply with valid objection requests, unless there is an overriding and compelling legal basis for the continuation of our processing or there is another legitimate reason to refuse your request. We will promptly process all valid unsubscribe requests in connection with commercial communications. Villa del Gattopardo aims to respond to any other request within 72 hours. However, it may take up to 7 days for the user’s profile to be deleted from all Villa del Gattopardo systems
• Rights related to automated decisions about the user. Decisions based solely on automated processing are not made.
• Restriction. Data subjects may request that we restrict our processing of their personal data in a variety of circumstances. We will comply with your request, unless we have a legal reason not to, such as a legal obligation to continue to process your personal data in a particular way.
• Right of cancellation. The interested party can request the cancellation of personal data on her account, to which Villa del Gattopardo will provide unless impediments of a legal nature. For example, there may be an overriding legitimate reason for retaining your personal data, such as a legal obligation that Villa del Gattopardo is required to comply with, or if continued retention of your personal data may be essential for compliance by of Villa del Gattopardo of its legal obligations.
• Right to data portability. Under certain circumstances, data subjects may ask the controller to provide a copy of their personal data in a structured, commonly used and electronic format and to have it transferred to another provider of the same or similar services. Rules for guests
Check-in/out
Check-in is from 15:30 to 20:30, unless otherwise agreed.
Check-out takes place from 07:30 to 11:00, unless otherwise agreed.
For arrivals before the check-in time or departures after the check-out time, the luggage storage service is available.
For arrivals after check-in times, a supplement of € 20.00 may be requested, to be agreed with the structure.
We recommend that you communicate the time of arrival at the facility in advance, especially if this falls outside the normal reception hours.
Reception acceptance
Upon arrival, guests must provide, by national provision, a suitable document to certify their identity. If they do not have one, the operator must refuse hospitality (art.109 PS laws as amended by art.7 point 2 of Law 203/95).
Accepted documents: identity card, passport or driving licence.
The manager will also present, to each arriving customer, a declaration form of personal details which he must fill in and sign (P.S. Law as amended: by article 7 n.4 of Law 203/95).
Minimum age to rent a room: 18 years.
Cancellation of withdrawal
The reservation can be canceled without any penalty if requested within 7 days of the arrival date, only in the case of a refundable rate reservation.
For cancellations of non-refundable bookings, or less than 7 days from the arrival date, a penalty equal to the entire booking amount will be applied.
In the event of cancellation due to force majeure, the management reserves the right to grant the customer a voucher for the amount of the reservation, to be used in other periods, compatibly with the availability of the hotel, in the same current season or possibly in the ‘New Year.
There is no partial refund for early departures or late arrivals.
Animals
Pets are not allowed.
Room regulations
Each accommodation can only be occupied by the number of people indicated for that specific housing unit. Children up to 2 years are accepted without supplement in bed with parents.
For reasons of Public Safety, guests are not allowed to let other people access the accommodation at any time.
It is forbidden inside the premises: to smoke, to use drugs, to speak loudly, to shout, to slam doors or windows, to keep the television at a volume that could disturb the other guests of the structure.
Timetables
Breakfast is served from 07:30 to 09:30.
Room cleaning is done from 09:00 to 13:00.
It is recommended to respect the time slots from 11.00 pm to 8.00 am and from 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm, hours in which rest is foreseen.
